From She To Thee -Discover McClelland's Dairy Family Farm!

Spend a day on the McClelland’s Dairy family farm, being a farmer for a day. Start in the early morning with chores, feeding the baby calves, mixing grain for the cows and milking cows. Experience what its like to work on the farm for a day, and be rewarded by making your own butter!

Depending on what time you like to start, the family farm has plenty to offer everyone. For those early risers, join the farm team and help by feeding the newborn calves their bottles. After feeding the baby calves, grain must be mixed to feed the mama cows, and then the cows must be milked. Learn to milk a cow! With all of the hands on excitement, you will also learn about the history of the McClelland’s Dairy family farm, and before leaving can even make your own butter.

Scheduled tour times will be posted soon. You and your family can arrive at the farm, take in the guided tour and at your leisure join in on some of the other farm chores.

Please sign up ahead of time. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

McClelland's Dairy INTRODUCES artisan organic butter
(June '09)

All the quality you would expect from the McClelland Dairy heritage is packed into this butter. Filled with natural goodness this butter is tumble churned in small batches to achieve the perfect texture, then organic sea salt from the Sea of Brittany in France is then added. It revives the old world values we started our dairy with in 1938. "From She to Thee" a slogan started by Bob McClelland for his hand delivered milk - is now available once again with hand-packed butter available at Petaluma and Healdsburg Farmer's Markets or through this website. McClelland's Dairy launches into the butter market
(April '09)

McClelland's Dairy is now producing Clover Farmstead Butter. This European-style butter is made with organic milk produced on the coastal hills of Sonoma County. We start with organic milk that is cold-separated to ensure the quality of the butterfat in the cream. The cream is then pasteurized in a small vat to produce a rich, robust flavor. The butter is tumble churned in small batches to achieve the perfect texture. Now available on store shelves near you!
