Farm Tours

Enjoy Sonoma County on the McClelland’s Dairy with their grazing girls. Learn about the history of the farm and how the animals are cared for. Pet babies in the nursery, watch cows being milked and even milk a cow by hand! After the tour you may enjoy a sample of the European Style Organic Artisan butter. Before you leave, take a stroll through the Farm Store and take home some of the products grown on the farm.

 Award Winning European Style Organic Butter

Our European Style Organic Artisan Butter is tumble churned the old fashioned way, giving it extra flavor and a creamy texture. Starting with the highest quality milk and these churning techniques have made our butter award winning. Our butter was a Double Gold winner (unanimous winner from all judges) at this years Sonoma County Harvest Fair and won 3rd prize in the nation at the American Cheese Society Conference!  Grand Champion & Best Udder 2010 California State Fair

From our Lillian family, Lilly blossomed at the 2010 California State Fair! McClelland Jordan Lilly won her Jr 3-Year-Old class and went on to be named Grand Champion and Best Udder of the Holstein Show. In addition, she anchored our first place Best Three Females along with McClelland Roy Marge (HM Grand Champion & 1st place 4-Year-Old) and McClelland Electron Ivy (2nd place 4-Year-Old). Along with the other girls we took to the fair, we were Premier Breeder & Exhibitor. What a great week! Thanks to everyone who helped with the show string at both CA State Fair and Sonoma County Fair. More info >>
